Prep Service/Cashier

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and quickly processing all transactions
• Food preparation/portioning items
• Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Station set up, breakdown and restocking
• Clean and sanitize work area including coolers, displays, equipment, etc.
• Keep area well stocked with snacks, fruit, utensils, beverages, condiments and other items
• Date and rotate products to ensure freshness and availability to customers
• Bank management (cash record, balancing cash drawer, receipts and daily deposits)
• Salad bar setup
• Assist as needed in daily kitchen routine
• Inventory maintenance
• Other duties as assigned


• Demonstrated commitment to customer service
• Excellent math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient use of a cash register and calculator
• Must be able to organize, prioritize and work quickly and efficiently in a high demand environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to lift in excess of 40/50 pounds and be able to walk, stand, bend and reach – as job requires
• Ability to work overtime when needed --- often not a lot of notice
• Good decision making skills
• Must have or be able to acquire a food handler's license

Required tests include:
Accounting (bank deposit, bank reconciliation and petty cash)
Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
