The Field Operations and Reporting Coordinator (FORC) will make sure a system of accountability is in place for our work across the country while ensuring that this system is not overly onerous on staff in state to implement. Other responsibilities besides putting in place a thorough and systematized reporting process, is serving as a liaison with other divisions & departments to guarantee that our technology tools are integrated and built in a way that helps support work by National Field Staff. The Field Operations and Reporting Coordinator will work closely with the Campaigns Department's administrative team to order and track equipment that is out in the states. The FORC will report to the National Field Director working in coordination with the Deputy Field Directors.


The Field Operations and Reporting Coordinator will work to assist the Field Division management with three major areas of work: reporting, operations, serving as a data liaison to help improve systems for the staff who run campaigns in states and in D.C., as well as working on special projects.
As reporting from activity in the field is a crucial element of campaigns progress, the FORC will be lead on gathering, compiling and preparing for dissemination this information. The information will be used to gauge efficacy as well as alert where more affiliate and partner buy in is necessary to be successful.
The FORC's work will also include working with the field management team and data staff to figure out the best tracking methods for staff in the states. The FORC will also be responsible for working on various field projects that arise.
• Responsible for organizing all data tracking for the Field Division for campaigns and programs.
• Develop reports based on progress analysis for presentation to work groups, directors and affiliates under direction of the Field Director and the Deputy Field Directors.
• Work to identify and implement best methods to track progress according to pre-determined goals, benchmarks and timelines.
• Creating data systems for the tracking of qualitative and quantitative information that gauges progress for each campaign and program.
• Help set up systems to best track, develop and communicate with potential and current activists with staff in the states.
• Works with all tools: LAN (including both My Campaign and My Voters), Online Events Tool, PoliOps and other systems to gather information.
• Under the direction of the Field Director, works with point staff in other departments who are responsible for development and integration of tools. Helps with data entry on compliance, volunteer sign ups, and direct voter contact when needed.
• Oversees the Campaigns Department's predictive dialer budget and communicates the department's needs regarding LAN minute pool funds with the Political Department staff who are responsible for the predictive dialer. Lead on department on ordering and tracking equipment for campaign use. Works in tandem with the Operations Division.
• Responsible for editing and posting all documents, reports to the online storage system for use by staff in the states.
• Perform other duties as assigned.


• 2-3 years of experience on a local or regional field operation in state.
• Experience building a data tracking system to track volunteers and direct voter contact.
• At least one cycle of using a voter file (LAN, VAN or VoteBuilder) for voter contact including pulling complex reports.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience using other online databases or software.
• Demonstrated self-starter.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to conclusion in a collaborative way.
• Ability to work independently within the context of a plan.
• Experience navigating political and issue campaign program, staff, and mechanics.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise good political judgment and discretion.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, problem-solve and manage multiple assignments.
• Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent listening, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.

• Some travel may be required.
